The 15th Water Digest Water Awards 2021-2022, organized in partnership with UNESCO was a grand affair. The event was presided over by the Chief Guest Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. Hon’ble Minister of Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India.
Mr. Eric Falt, Director and UNESCO Representative to Bhutan, Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Shri G. Asok Kumar (IAS), Director General, National Mission for Clean Ganga, Shri A. B. Pandya, Secretary-General, ICID and Editor-in-Chief, Water Digest and Shri Avinash Mishra, Adviser, NITI Aayog, Ms. Anupama Madhok Sud, Director, and Editor Water Digest and Shri Umesh Kumar Sharma, Director, Water Digest, were among the dignitaries who participated in the event.
There was an overwhelming response to the Awards as the event was held live after a gap of two years.
The 2022 Water Digest Water Awards were presented to over 45 different category winners including various sectors like Government, private, NGOs, schools, colleges, RWAs, individuals, and many more. This year, there was significant competition among public and private players.
