Gawan, Giridih: The construction work of water supply plant in five panchayats of Gawan block at a cost of about one billion is likely to start very soon. In this regard, JE Jahendra Bhagat of PHED told that after inspecting the site of plant construction, he did the work of measurement.
During this SDO Vikram Kumar Mandal and the people of the investigation team were also present. He said that the tender for the water supply scheme to be made in five panchayats of Gawan block has also been done. Now the site has been investigated and the land has been measured, after which water tanks and supply centers will be built at five places. He said that very soon work would be started at the above five places.
Please tell that there is a serious problem of drinking water in many panchayats and villages of Gawan block. During the summer, the people of some villages have to travel far and wide to fetch water for potable water. Now after the completion of the said scheme, water supply will be done in all the villages of the block through a door-to-door pipeline.
