Satish Raghav and Karan Singh Tomar from Rajasthan started NutriOrg in the year 2010 with their belief and sole objective of making India healthy and toxic-free. His business idea was so impressive that the company managed to do business successfully and remarkably more than Rs 10 crore even during the Covid pandemic.
The journey to significant achievements begins with a great plan and a useful purpose or goal. Warehouse business owner Satish and engineer Karan were doing well in their respective fields. Satish had about 80 hectares of ancestral agricultural land, and the two would constantly talk about how to make the best use of it. After deep planning and research, he established his company in the year 2014 with the advice of Mr. Ratan Pal Singh. With his determination and dedication to make India healthy and chemical free, he named his company ‘NutriOrg’ which signifies ‘Nutrition with Organic’. There he started with a mission to make his dream come true – ‘Swasth Bharat, Organic India’.

NutriOrg started with an investment of Rs 1 crore. Initially the company launched only 3-4 products and; It has since expanded to over 100 products through its offline and online e-commerce websites in 18 countries, attracting customers in India and across the globe.
When asked what makes his company special compared to other organic brands, Karan explains: “Every ingredient, whether it is a herb, fruit or crop, that is used to make NutriOrg products, is our organic product. Are grown on the farm, which ensures that the quality always remains intact. Everything is natural and organic.”
They are strongly committed to the premium quality offered to their customers. Even before the pandemic, NutriOrg was doing an annual turnover of 40 million with its reach to millions of people. But, after the pandemic, the company’s sales more than doubled and the company’s turnover increased to Rs 10.9 crore in 2021.
Karan says, “It is sad that the coronavirus pandemic has devastated India and the world, but it has made people realize the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. Now with a significant shift to boost immunity and focus more on poor health, customers are eager to buy organic products and explore us; Earlier we had to make the customers aware and now the customers themselves are looking for us by being aware.
Earlier the monthly subscriber count of their brand was around 15,000, and now they are catering to the demand of more than 2 lakh customers. Their mission is not only to increase sales but also to make people more aware and responsible about their health.
Talking about his vision of developing NutriOrg, Karan also says that at NutriOrg, they try to create as many jobs as possible, employing villagers based on their skills, which are farms. from various departments of the company. “We have provided employment to about 200 families in the villages. We believe this is one of our biggest achievements to date, and we will continue to hire more people from villages as we expand.” At the same time, they strongly believe in women-oriented employment, and about 80% of their employees are women.
The company has won several prestigious awards, including the prestigious Brand of the Year by Blossom Media, MSME 5000 Indian Wads (Excellence in Quality), India Food Safety Summit & Awards 2019 (Emerging Nutrition Company). Karan attributes the success of NutriOrg to the 120 employees working in his company.
Satish and Karan are determined to make a turnover of 100 crores in the coming two to four years by promoting the sales of their products. They want India to be healthy, and are therefore in the process of producing more and more products that are nutritious and organic, and that benefit not only the people who consume it but also the land grown Get.”
His story is indeed an example for the younger generation. Especially for the youth who are migrating to the city in search of jobs considering agriculture as a loss-making deal. If the goal is pursued with determination, a chapter will definitely be written for you in the books of success.
