Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in his address that the Andaman and Nicobar Islands are a place of pilgrimage for freedom. He said that I urge all the youth to visit Andaman and Nicobar once. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that today 14 projects have been inaugurated here. Whose total price are 299 crores? The foundation stone of 12 projects has been laid, its cost is Rs 643 crore. On the small island of Andaman, development plans worth about 1000 crores are being started.
Amit Shah further said that this year we are celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence and the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. When we look at Netaji’s life, we feel that injustice has been done to him. The place that Netaji deserved was not given to him in history. Amit Shah from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Dweep said that for years, attempts were made to malign the image of many leaders. But, now the time has come to give them their due place in history. Those who sacrificed their lives should get a place in history. That’s why we named this island after Netaji.
