Banks will be closed here on October 12,13,14,15,16,17,18

Navratri started in the second week of October. On the occasion of Navratri, there is a bank holiday in Kolkata on October 12 and 13. Banks will remain closed in Chennai on October 14. On the day of Dussehra on 15 October, the work of banks across the country remains closed. On the other hand, being a Sunday on October 17, all banks will remain closed.

Banks in Gangtok will remain closed on October 16 on the occasion of Durga Puja (Dasain). Only Gangtok banks will remain closed on October 16 due to Dasain. October 17 being a Sunday, there will be a holiday in the banks. On 18th October only Guwahati Bank will remain closed on 18th October due to Kati Bihu (Guwahati), Bihu.

Banks will remain closed on October 19, 20, 23, 24

October 19 is the birthday of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad, due to which banks will remain closed in many states. On the other hand, Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti is on October 20, due to which banks will remain closed in Kolkata. October 23 is the fourth Saturday, due to which the banks will remain locked. Banks will remain closed on October 24 as it is a Sunday.

Banks were closed on 2nd and 3rd October

All banks remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month in addition to Sundays as per the instructions of RBI, while a holiday has been declared in banks on national festivals and festivals. This year, October 2 was the first Saturday, banks were closed on this day, let us tell you that Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti is on October 2.
