The BJP State Executive Member Rupesh Sawarkar of Maharashtra BJYM Yuva Morcha, visited the Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant who represents the Sanquelim constituency in the Goa Legislative Assembly and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party along with the winner of Indian Idol Season 12 Pawandeep Rajan and runner-up Arunita Kanjilal.
Sawarkar met and arranged for felicitation by the CM of the state of Goa Dr. Pramod Sawant for the winners Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal. They were greeted and welcomed by Sawant at the Chief Ministers’ official residence in Altinho Panaji, Goa.
Rupesh Sawarkar holds huge responsibility as BJP State Executive Member of Maharashtra Yuva Morcha and works for the betterment of the people. He focuses on recognizing talents and giving them a platform to showcase their skills where they are appreciated and recognized for their hard work.
As we spoke to Sawarkar in a quick interview, we asked him about his purpose of visiting the Chief Minister of Goa Pramod Sawant. He said, “Goa is a beautiful state among all the other beautiful states in India. We decided to take some time off and visit Goa along with Pawandeep and Arunita as it would be a great time off for them and their managing team, and since the CM Shri, Pramod Sawant Ji is well known to me, I believe it would be an honour for such young talents to be felicitated and recognized for their hard work and dedication, which they’ve accomplished in Indian Idol 12.”
On the visit to the Chief Ministers’ residence, we asked Sawarkar for more details on their interaction, to which he said, “CM Pramod Sawant happily welcomed and interacted with the two young talented singers Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal, and appreciated their victory.” They spoke about their journey in Indian Idol season 12 and how they practiced day in and day out to reach where they are today. The two also sang for the CM of Goa. They tuned in on some of his most favorite 90’s songs which was a complete nostalgia.
They also spoke about their future plans in the music industry and the international shows that they will be attending this year. The Goa CM Sawant felicitated the two with shawls, congratulated them. He wished them all the best for a bright future ahead. Also, recently Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, and Shanmukha Priya were felicitated by the BJP Executive Member Rupesh Sawarkar in Mumbai, the same was mentioned by Pawandeep Rajan to the CM and how Rupesh continued to support them in every way possible.
They were accompanied by their Director Raj Surani of Octopus Entertainment, who will soon be seen directing a series of Musical videos with Pawandeep and Arunita. In a recent interview, Surani mentioned that he has signed the Trio (Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal & Shanmukha Priya) of Indian Idol season 12 for 20 songs under an exclusive contract. The project will soon go on the floor for shoots with the support and blessings of the Yuva Morcha leader Rupesh Sawarkar.
