Brightcom Group reports strong Q3 results, announces 2:3 bonus

Brightcom Group (NSE: BCG | BSE: 532368), the tech major, posted an impressive performance in its third-quarter results for the financial year 2022.

• The company reported its best quarter this year, with consolidated revenue growing 130.08% YOY to Rs 2021 crore and PAT up 167.99% to Rs 371 crore.

• EBITDA increased by 126.44% to Rs 578 crore due to better cost management and higher returns.

• To reward its shareholders 2:3 bonus shares have been announced.

• The Company’s Return on Equity (ROE), on a yearly basis, has improved to around 21.74%.

• Value addition during the quarter: 43 new publishers; 12 new advertising agencies; 10 new direct advertisers; and 14 new newspaper ties to the local news platform ‘Blokal’ Exchange.

• Network traffic touched 90 billion impressions at the end of the quarter.

Hyderabad, January 26, 2022: The Brightcom Group’s board has met to take stock of the company’s third-quarter earnings. Revenue has increased to Rs 2021 crore, registering a growth of 130.08%, registering a high net profit of Rs 371 crore, a growth of 167.99%.

The overall performance was impressive due to increased consumer use of digital media and digital channels to conduct commerce around the world after the pandemic. Filtering technologies across the industry have reached a steady-state, leading to a reduction in fake traffic, contributing to a higher eCPM (effective cost per impression).

The Company is excited to announce that to further reward our shareholders, we have announced the issuance of Bonus Shares in the ratio of 2:3, which means for every three shares owned, two Bonus Shares are issued. will be done. The move will not only improve liquidity but also bring to the fore the value of the company.

The future cash flow FCF for FY12 remains at Rs 250 crore and is expected to reach Rs 500 crore by the June quarter, 2022, as stated in the earlier communication. Improving free cash generation is a major financial goal for management.
