The Book – This is a book merging the values of Sanatan Dharma with our daily life. The book takes a historic perspective to seek solutions for our future in the values of Sanatan Dharma.
Our Independence—We had knowledgeable freedom fighters who were martyred leaving the Congress to be in charge of the new Nation who were clueless of Nationhood and its Development. In effect the Nation was rudderless and drifted aimlessly just managing to survive on its rich natural resources
The Constitution – The constitution of India was a copy-paste product of British, American and German constitution. This hotch-potch product did not follow Indian Culture or Traditions let alone it glorious past. The Independence of Russia and France revolution aftermath was given to development of their constitution un the basis of their past culture and traditions. The preamble, the Indian Judiciary does not consider s part of Constitution but allows insertion of Socialistic and Secular words in the preamble and passes judgement on that basis. Constitution must rely on the values of Sanatan Dharma the ethos of being Indian.
The Citizens – The citizens to be trained to be Purusharth quality and truth seekers. They will not form opinions on doles during elections, politicians with poor records, Whatsapp and Media news related to their TRP leanings. The opinions will be self-researched through the internet, analytics from more than one sources for validating the news.
Citizens will maintain discipline in Public Life not stepping on others’ feet. This discipline will be self-control based not imposed or else to be sent for rehab in the Universities regardless of age. If severe than a one-year stint in the army will be enforced.
Judiciary
The Collegium system has made the judiciary above the law. There is no accountability. Nepotism exists in appointments. The laws have been made to be subjective and presents huge loopholes by interpretations. Travesty starts from within. The first job of the judiciary is to uphold the spirit of the constitution but they perpetrate the essence as the laws are not objective, the various amendments like Muslim personal law is against the fundamental law of equality. This is in spite of the inclusion of Common Civil Code in the original Constitution. Nothing short of total overhaul can correct the wrong.
Education
Even after 70+ years of Independence our education from schooling to higher education is archaic and colonial—Macaulay’s legacy even when the present British have moved away from and upgraded their own education. We need to go back with Sanatan Dharma and reinstitute the Gurukul like basic educational ecosystem. The translation of National Education Program NEP 2020 has not taken off primarily because converting syllabus into curriculum is System Engineering which the Governments’ educationists just do not have. They still rely on the failed NCERT created Syllabus (not curriculum).
Medicine
Today our health care is predominantly Allopathic which through technology has become a tertiary care, non-holistic lesion or diseases and body systems oriented Specialists depended care delivery system. They are focused on care management rather than giving “health”. Even Covid 19 has not taught them that healthcare and health is holistic and not systems depended. The gist of Lancet, the bible of Allopathy/ has defined health as “absence of disease” totally misunderstanding health being physical, psychological, environmental, societal and cosmic in nature. This has been understood by Ayurveda our Sanatan Dharma philosophy of being holistic. What we need is a culmination of these philosophy to produce a holistic and integrated health delivery system.
Technology
The boom which we see today in various fields are stupendous and easy to waylay us from its real meaning and context. The concept to context conversion is not what our education teaches us (being memory dependent). Today’s technological innovation and discoveries are focused not on new innovations or processes but are more based on doing something faster (usually), less failures, statistically more applicable and giving higher probability. The healthcare, engineering methodology and output remains essentially same as are other services. We need real research or innovation which changes our results for end users.
Direct Political Republic not Democracy
Our Governance is skewed and an abject failure because it works in democratic mode by party-wise voting or whip; by direct representation without consulting the people who voted them. Like Switzerland we need Direct Political Voting. The people opine by a Referendum on all bills. The people can directly propose a bill or the people can recall legislature if not supporting their views.
Ushering Ram Rajya
Sanatan Dharma based governance as Ram Rajya with people’s collaboration and free value based alliances to become unified is the final goal.
