Mr. Habib Ahmed, born on October 2, 1940, in Jalalabad, Uttar Pradesh, is a pioneer in India’s hair and beauty industry. With a career spanning over five decades, he has elevated hairstyling into a respected art form. Coming from a lineage of esteemed barbers, his father, Nazir Ahmed, was the official hairdresser to British Viceroys and later served President Rajendra Prasad post-independence. Inspired by this legacy, Habib Ahmed pursued advanced hairstyling training at the Morris School of Hair Design in London during the 1970s. Upon returning, he worked at the Oberoi Group of Hotels in New Delhi from 1971 to 1981.
His son, Parvez Habib, joined the family business after graduating from Jamia University in 1986. Passionate about hairstyling, he trained under Horst Rechelbacher in the U.S., completing 1,440 hours of training. Over three decades, he has expanded Habib’s Hair & Beauty into a globally recognized brand through education, stage shows, and seminars. With a strong commitment to ethics and excellence, he continues to learn from his father, stating, “Becoming even 1% of my father would be an honor.”
Aman Habib, son of Parvez Habib, has been leading HABIBS Cosmetics Pvt. Ltd. for nearly six years. A graduate in International Business from Birkbeck, University of London, he blends tradition with innovation, driving global expansion while maintaining excellence.
Zoya Habib, Parvez’s daughter, is the creative head of Habibs Group and an expert in international operations. A certified hairstylist from Vidal Sassoon, London, with an MBA from NMIMS Mumbai, she specializes in personalized hair experiences. Based in Oman, she leads Habib’s International with a focus on elegance, creativity, and innovation, ensuring every client embraces their unique hair journey with confidence.
