Hyderabad, November 17th, 2021:The first match of the fourth day at the ‘Gooncha 57th Nehru Senior Hockey Tournament’, was an exhibition match played between IAF and Hyderabad Xl, at the SCR Sports Complex, Secunderabad. IAF effortlessly drubbed Hyderabad Xl, with a 6-0 win. IAF’s Sukhdev Singh scored a field goal in the 8th minute of the game, thereafter both the teams didn’t succeed in finding the net and at halftime, IAF led 1-0. In the second half IAF team went on a goal-scoring spree with Dilip Pal scoring two field goals in the 41st and 44th minutes, followed by Navdeep scoring a field goal in the 47th minute; Sukhdev Singh scoring his second goal, a field goal in the 51st minute and Nitesh Kiro scoring the 6th goal through a penalty stroke in the 56th minute. Mahesh Reddy of Hyderabad Xl was named the Man of the Match.
