Janata Party President Navneet Chaturvedi was denied an Inner Line Permit for Arunachal as a political leader

An Inner line permit is a must to enter in the state of Arunachal, Janata party President was advised by the authorities to mention his visit as a tourist but he denied to get ILP as a tourist, he was stuck on getting an entry permit as a political leader.

Janata Party President Sh. Navneet Chaturvedi’s official visit to Arunachal Pradesh is not going to happen on the scheduled date of 9-10 May.

He was invited to inaugurate a youth festival in lower Dibbang Valley today on 9th may and his proposed meeting with the Honourable Governor on 10th May on the issue of the Etalin Hydro Power Project.

Local of Arunachal are Doing a campaign Save Arunachal Save our Forest under an NGO Democracy Warriors, they are fighting for local youth’s rights to get a job in priority in the state infrastructure hydel projects, a youth festival cum job fair was fixed for 9th May.

Janata party President Navneet Chaturvedi was representing the local community under his leadership and They were supposed to meet Honourable Governor on 10th May.

As per official sources of the Janata Party, the Inner line Permit is denied for Their National President Sh. Navneet Chaturvedi, hence he cannot enter the state, official advised Janata Party President to mention His visit as a tourist to get an Inner line permit, but Mr Chaturvedi denied to do so He told officers at Guwahati Airport that he will enter the state as a political leader not as simple tourist.
