Though before the arrival of the pandemic, the business operation at Loomfolks was smooth with nationwide and international delivery of products from the Mumbai centre with quality check and then furthered the delivery by shipping it to the respective customers. But the arrival of the pandemic had taken a toll in the cottage industry, too, where logistics were affected due to nationwide lockdown. Loomfolks had to transition the business operation to a great extent. The quality check was also done via video call with the weaver and the packing and shipping from the weaver’s place. Now Loomfolks provides 24X7 customer support to the customers regarding any query and track of their product delivery.

The team at Loomfolks takes pride to be a part of APCO (Andhra Pradesh State Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society), which is working towards the upliftment of the traditional handloom weavers of India. Being a part of APCO Loomfolks never leaves any stone unturned in providing proper branding and marketing solutions to the Indian weavers connected to them. Weavers and artisans are the heart and soul of India, and Loomfolks ensures in protecting the authentic heritage of India by supporting the weavers all across India. Weavers being a part of Indian culture always deserved the limelight and the status, and Loomfolks is a platform and a brand that always goes out of its way to give that right, stage, identity with fair pay in return for the beautiful handloom work that broadened the tradition and authenticity of India. Recently, Loomfolks was selected to be a part of the UN women’s disruptor program. Furthermore, it is incubated at Catalyst Atal Incubation centre, which is an initiative by NITI Aayog.
