Heavy rain in Marathwada: In Marathwada, the most havoc of rain is being seen in Marathwada. Rain has caused huge destruction in Aurangabad, Latur, Osmanabad, Parbhani, Nanded, Beed, Jalna, and Hingoli. More than two hundred animals have been washed away in the flood. Many houses have been damaged.
There will be more rain now: In many areas of Maharashtra, it has been raining heavily for three to four days. At the same time, the Meteorological Department estimates that there will be more rain in the coming time. There is a possibility of heavy rain in the Marathwada, Mumbai, and Coastal Konkan regions of Maharashtra. ISD has issued a yellow alert. Here, the Manjari Dam has become inundated due to heavy rains. On Tuesday, all 18 gates of the dam were opened. Due to the water released from the dam, some villages in Beed district have been flooded.
Significantly, in the last one week, many districts of Maharashtra have received heavy rains. The commissioner’s office said that 180 circles of eight districts have received more than 65 mm of rain. Which is a lot of rain. It is reported that 13 people died in six districts in the last 48 hours due to heavy rains.
