Barkatha MLA Amit Kumar Yadav laid the foundation stone for the construction of a culvert on the Bandi river of village Konhara Kala under the Southern Panchayat of Barkatha block. On the occasion of foundation stone laying of the culvert to be constructed at a cost of Rs 58 lakh under District Mineral Foundation Trust head, the MLA said that farmers would get more benefit from the construction of this culvert. During the rainy season, the farmers had to face a lot of difficulties in commuting for farming. At the same time, the villagers told that there was a great need for a culvert on the Bandi river. Villagers were happy with the start of the culvert construction work.
