Navjot Singh Sidhu says that he has withdrawn his resignation from the post of Punjab Congress President. That is, now he is the President of Punjab Congress. After The Appointment of The New Attorney General
I will take over after the appointment of a new Attorney General. Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu said in Chandigarh, it (resignation) is not a matter of personal ego, but is in the interest of every Punjabi. He said that his fight is for ideology and he is completely clear about his views. He has also believed in the past that the development of every person living in Punjab is necessary. During the last 4.5 years, I have raised many issues like alcohol, bus, etc. CM had centralized power but took no action. I am not greedy for any position but I fight only for the rights of the people of Punjab. In the 2022 elections, I will give 80-100 seats to Congress.

What The Experts Say
Now the question is what is the point of this stand of Sidhu. Experts say that even if Sidhu may say something, the reality is that he is not happy with the functioning of the current chief i.e. Charanjit Singh Channi. Navjot Singh Sidhu felt that he would be able to bring faces according to him in the Channi government and along with this his favorite officers would also be appointed in the government. But he became uncomfortable with the way the government was formed. In a recent speech, he had surrounded the Charanjit Singh Channi government and said that Punjab is not going to benefit from Lollipop.
