Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary celebrated as Parakram Diwas

On Sunday, the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was celebrated as Parakram Diwas at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Bandarkuppi under the aegis of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Giridih. Seminar and essay competitions were also organized under this program. The guests expressed their views in the seminar.

Pramod Kumar, principal of Saraswati Shishu Vidyamandir, the chief guest, said that Subhash Chandra Bose is an inspiration to the youth, because of his eloquent speech, the youth had jumped in the freedom struggle. Today’s youth also need to follow in his footsteps. He said that freedom was not found so easily, everyone had sacrificed their lives. Netaji had also given the slogan ‘You give me blood, I will give you freedom’, Delhi Chalo, Jai Hind.

25 participants participated in the essay competition. Pratishtha Kumari stood first, Palak Gupta second and Prakash Kumar third in the essay competition. The winning participants were rewarded. The stage was conducted by National Youth Volunteer Premjit Saxena. Ward members Prabhakar Pandey, Dileep, Devanand, former National Youth Volunteer Akash Ku. Gupta, teacher Bali Mandal, Dilkeshwar, Sunil, etc. were present on the occasion.
