Biharsharif: There has been a big success in the action of the SIT in the Choti Pahari Poisonous Liquor Case. Seven accused, including the main accused Sunita Madam, who is considered to be the mastermind in the spurious liquor scandal, have been arrested.
Given the above information, Superintendent of Police, Nalanda, Ashok Mishra said that the SIT was formed under the leadership of Biharsharif Sub-Divisional Police Officer Sadar Shibli Nomani for the death of a total of 12 persons due to the so-called spurious liquor, investigation of the incident, arrest of the accused. Police officers including Police Inspector Ghulam Sarwar, Bihar SHO Santosh Kumar, Laheri SHO Subodh Kumar, Police Sub Inspector Sohsarai Police Station Nandan Kumar Singh were included in this team.
Continuous raids/action was started by the SIT, in which in the past a total of 06 accused have been arrested and sent to judicial custody and a large quantity of country / foreign liquor making equipment and other liquor-related materials were recovered.
For the arrest of the accused by the SIT, raids were conducted outside the district at Patna and Jharkhand, and other places. In this sequence, the main accused of the incident, Sunita Devi alias Madam, Meena Devi alias Budhiya, Sindu Ram, Suraj Kumar, Saurabh Kumar, Dimple Choudhary, and other accused were arrested and successfully busted the case of this so-called poisonous liquor.
