Everyone should set their goals and move forward. Describing Vivekananda as a role model, he said that every year on January 12, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda is celebrated. The day is dedicated to the youth of the country who have the potential to shape a healthier and better future for India.
Swami Vivekananda had a deep connection with the youth, so his birthday has been dedicated to the youth. This day is also called National Youth Day. Throwing light on his biography said that Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January 1863 in Kolkata. His real name was Narendranath Dutt. He was a renowned and influential spiritual master of Vedanta. At the age of 25, Vivekananda renounced worldly attachment and became a sanyasi. In 1881, Vivekananda met Ramakrishna Paramhansa, after which he started inspiring people all over the world as a philosopher and thinkers.
Vivekananda had knowledge of religion, philosophy, history, art, social science, literature. Along with being proficient in education, he also had knowledge of Indian classical music. The main goal of celebrating National Youth Day on his birthday is to spread the importance of the ideals and ideas of Swami Vivekananda among the youth of India. Swami Vivekananda was a great social reformer, philosopher, and thinker. He was an inspiration to all the youth across the country.
