Swarutsav’22 concluded successfully In the Service of Indian Classical Music

Shree Gulab Rai Charitable Trust organized Indian Classical Music event by the name of Swarutsav’22 on Wednesday 30th Nov 2022 at Kamani Auditorium, Mandi House, Delhi. The event was a big success. Padma Bhushan Ustad Rashid Khan ji mesmerised the audience by his melodious voice. The auditorium was packed to it’s fullest capacity .

The entry to this event was by free invitation and all expenses borne by the Trust. The Trust is financed by Shri. Chhatratpati Ranjit Rai, President of the Trust, his family members and various companies run by the family.

Justice Arjan Sikri, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, Justice Indu Malhotra, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India were the Guests of Honour in this program. Both the Honoured Guests spoke and profusely praised Shri Gulab Rai Charitable Trust and Mr. Rai for the philanthropic activities carried out in the Trust in service to the society and Indian Classical Music.

Shri. Chhatrapati Ranjit Rai, President of the Trust gave a welcome speech about the activities of the Trust. He mentioned that the Trust is running two schools for the underprivileged children by the name ‘Vidyashree Sneh Chaaya’ which has more than 250 students where children get free education, uniform & mid day snacks. The Trust is also running free homeopathic dispensaries in Delhi & Noida which provide free medicines and consultation to over 15,000 patients annually.

Ustad Rashid Khan enthralled the audience with Raag Marwa and other compositions and also took up requests from his fans also .
