Gadget Desk: Online streaming service Netflix has finally slashed the prices of its subscription plans. The company has said that it has reduced the rates of monthly subscription fees by up to 60 percent for Indian users.
1. Now to get one month subscription to Netflix mobile, the customer will have to spend Rs 149. Earlier, the company was providing this plan at the rate of Rs 199 per month. The user will get to see the video of 480 pixels resolution in it.
2. Netflix’s basic plan will now be available for Rs 199 instead of Rs 499. Its price has been reduced by 60 percent. In this too, the user will get the facility to watch videos of 480 pixels resolution on a mobile.
3. Talking about the standard plan of Netflix, its price has been reduced from Rs 649 per month to Rs 499 per month. The user will get to watch 1080 pixels of video in this plan and support for two devices will also be given.
4. Talking about the premium plan, its price has now been reduced to Rs 649, which was earlier Rs 799 per month. Users will get the facility to watch 4K HDR videos in this plan. In this plan, you will be able to use Netflix on 4 devices.
While cutting the prices of these plans, Monica Shergill, Vice President of Content (India) Netflix has said that they are reducing the rates of all their plans for their consumers. The company has cut its basic plan by 60 percent. It is believed that the company has taken this big step only to woo the customers.
