Government strictness: 700 passengers from Britain were isolated for 10 days

New Delhi: After the constant obstruction of Britain on the Indian Vaccine, now India has started showing strictness. After the warning, India has sent passengers coming from Britain to a mandatory 10-day quarantine. All 700 passengers who landed at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Monday have been isolated. RT-PCR of all the passengers was also done as soon as they arrived at the airport.

The Government of India had given the order in the past

On the irresponsible attitude of Britain, the Indian government had recently announced that if Britain does not recognize their vaccine, then all travelers coming from England will be given a mandatory 10-day quarantine here. But India has also made mandatory quarantine effective here if the rules are not relaxed by Britain.

Actually, the British government has not recognized the certificate of the corona vaccine to be administered in India. Now the Indian government has made quarantine mandatory for people coming from Britain for ten days. After Sunday night, this rule was compulsorily implemented for travelers coming to the country from Britain.

Covishield vaccine was invalidated a few days ago

England had kept the Indian vaccine Covishield vaccine out of the approved list a few days ago. That is, this vaccine was not recognized, as a result of which if someone had applied the covidshield vaccine, he would have to remain quarantined according to the rules there during his trip to England.

This issue was first raised by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor. Then the Government of India, taking a strict stand, warned him while taking action under ‘tit like’. However, the British government approved the vaccine after the strict attitude of the Indian government. But now questions have been raised on the vaccine certificate.

flight quarantine coming from UK

A senior government official at the airport said that till Monday afternoon, three flights from the UK have reached IGI Airport. Of these, 700 passengers have landed. Apart from Indians, there are also a large number of British citizens. According to the new rules, it will be necessary for travelers coming from Britain to present a negative report of RTPCR as soon as they come to India. Apart from this, there will be a one-time test at the airport as well. Not only this, after the completion of the 10-day quarantine period, the RTPCR test will have to be done once again. The official said, ‘A team of Delhi government has been deployed at the airport for this entire process. This team takes information from the passengers about their address etc., where they are going or where they will stay in Delhi.

India has made this change too

The e-visa facility for UK and Canada has also been abolished by India. Now travelers coming from the UK will have to come with a regular stamp visa. After implementing all the restrictions on people going from India, India has taken this decision regarding visas for people coming from these two countries.
