Weekend curfew and night curfew extended in Karnataka

Bengaluru: CM Basavaraj Bommai held a meeting with experts led by Health Minister K Sudhakar to discuss stringent measures including lockdown in view of Corona in the state. After the meeting, Revenue Minister R. Ashok said that experts were saying that Omicron is 5 times deadlier than covid. Today 147 omicron cases have been registered in a single day, and the number of positive corona cases has doubled in the last 3 days. Especially in Bengaluru, there is a situation where stricter rules need to be introduced. Silicon City is home to 85 percent of the cases. “In our country, the positivity rate is going up to over 3%,” he said.

The decision to conduct online classes for all classes from class 10th to 11th in Bangalore by the second week

There will be 10th class, first PU classes only. All other schools will be closed from Thursday. There will be a weekend curfew from 10 am on Monday to Monday morning for the next two weeks.
